New Women's Div 1 Coaching Appointment

We are excited to announce the appointment of Roslyn Manns as our new Women's Div 1 Coach for 2021. Ros is a foundation player of the Women's program at The Roos and she has played a pivotal role in the development of our female players over the past 3 years. Letting her actions do the talking on the field, Ros has achieved a number of accolades during her time at the Club including winning the Competition & Club Leading Goal Kicker in 2019. We are also extremely proud to welcome Ros as the first female coach in Robina's history and hope that this can pave the wave for many other Women's players to grow into leadership roles at our Club.

Having suffered a serious knee injury this year, Ros' focus will now shift to continuing to develop and expand the playing group that Gaven Johnston-Smith successfully managed thoughout 2020. Gav has recently moved to Northern NSW and taken on a new business venture, which will take his time away from the Roos next season. We wish Gav all the best in the future and thank him for all his hard work this year. No doubt we will see him back at the Club soon in some capacity.

If you would like to join the Robina Roos for season 2021, we encourage you to reach out to Ros on 0409 320 053.

Women's pre-season will commence on December 1st at Miami State High School from 5:30pm. We also have a Meet the Coaches night at the Club this Friday from 6pm (20th of November). Click here for more details.
