The Huntington’s Marathons Fundraiser

Steve Blaine (brother of our inspirational Women's Captain - Hannah) will be running a marathon each month in 2018 to help raise money for Huntington's research.

Hannah's & Steve's Mum was entering the golden years with all 6 kids grown up when she was given a life changing diagnosis. A diagnosis that would mean she would slowly lose her ability to move freely, express herself and complete daily activities that we take for granted. This diagnosis was Huntington's Disease. A disease that causes involuntary movements, making it a challenge to walk and sit without assistance, as well as taking away the ability to talk and even swallow.
